Favicons and Bookmark Icons (31/01/08 by Benjy)
Favicons are small graphics that are associated with websites, they generally appear in the address bar next the URL (web address) when browsing the Internet.
These little icons are simple to produce, but add an extra, professional element to any site. We include a favicon with all of our new websites and usually base it on the client's logo, but if you have any special requirements or interesting ideas, just let us know.
As well as desktop PC browsers, mobile browsers can have their own icons too. Our website now has an iPhone/iPodTouch icon, so please try it out by visiting our website and bookmarking it to your iPhone desktop.
Green Hosting (23/01/08 by Benjy)
We are pleased to announce that our hosting provider has just become Europe's "first large web host who relies solely on renewable energy". By utilising renewable energy sources, our dedicated servers, where we host all of our websites, now have a significantly reduced carbon footprint.
With the environment being such an important topic these days, we hope that this news will give our clients and potential customers extra peace of mind when considering their website.
